Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a day use fee?

Yes and it's $8 per vehicle. The park's open hours are 8am to sunset. There are self-pay boxes and cash envelopes at the entrance for after hours arrivals. 

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6ft and are not allowed on trails. 

Does the park have EV charging stations?

Yes and they are free. Check with park for more details.

Is it safe to swim at the park?

Yes, and it's also a popular spot for canoeing and kayaking. 

Does the park offer accessibility accommodations?

Yes, there is ADA compliant parking, restrooms, and also an all-access trail. 

Can I use my drone in the park?

Drones may not be operated on park grounds. 

Is there a schedule of events for the weekend?

Arrival begins Friday at 4pm for those camping. 

A Sabbath School program is planned for Saturday at 10am, followed by a church service. Haystack lunch will be provided; donations are welcome and will help offset costs. Please bring a dessert to share.

 

Sabbath afternoon will include a hike for those interested and free time to mingle into the evening.  

 

Checkout is 12pm on Sunday.
