Osborn spent the early years of her life in Beirut, Lebanon, where her parents
were missionaries. She moved to the U.S. her first year of college and continued
her education by earning a master's degree in education. For several years she
taught in Adventist and public schools In 1987 she was called
to the pastoral ministry and has served ever since with a focus on Christian education
and children's ministries. Norma has given the gift of teaching
and the passion to reach children for Jesus' sake. She desires to help families
fulfil their God-given roles in sharing with their children, and modeling for
them, the gospel: that God loves them and they are of infinite value to Him. Her
call to the PUC church includes responsibilities for family life ministry, women's
ministry, and children's ministry. She is married to Richard,
and they have two children: Heather, a PUC graduate, and Trevan, a college student.
She enjoys reading, interior design, and using fabric as an art medium. [Children's
