Hughson, Executive Pastor
E-mail: jhughson@puc.edu John Hughson served as a chaplain in the U.S. Army for 21
years in both active and reserve duty. It was with the Army and as a pastor
in several California conferences that he honed his administrative ability.
He brought those valuable skills to the PUC Church in 1997 to serve as
Administrative Pastor. Educated at La Sierra, Andrews University, and Fuller Theological
Seminary, Hughson brings to PUC a love of people and a desire to help
people with the essentials of life. For him, Jesus is his Savior and Lord,
the One who gives meaning to his life. Hughson is married to Joan, and has three children, Holly,
