Sabbath School



Jesus invited us to come and learn of Him. He wishes an intimate, personal relationship with each of us. At Sabbath School we seek to nurture friendship with Christ through relevant programs and discussions. We invite thoughtful, active participation based on God's Word.

Children's Sabbath Schools
meet during the adult Sabbath School time so all can enjoy something designed for them. Children's divisions are designated by age and grade. Check our Church Complex diagram for locations.

Adult Sabbath Schools come in a variety of flavors—something to suit everyone's taste:

Groups Discussing the Lesson Quarterly

  • Church Choir Room | Jeff Veness, Coordinator. Singing, discussion and occasional community-service projects
  • Fellowship Circle | Kristi Horn, Coordinator | New Family Room. Post-collegiates/Professionals
  • Scales Chapel | Bryan Ness, Jean Sheldon, Coordinators. An inquiring class that seeks to understand the character of God better as portrayed in the Bible.
  • Training Chapel | Doug Ermshar, Coordinator. Discussion and occasional mission projects.

Groups Discussion Various Themes

  • TLC4 | Jim Roy Coordinator | Teaching and Learning Center. TLC4 stands for tender, loving care within an atmosphere of Choice, Connection, Community and Care of choice, connection, community, and care

  • Community Groups are short term groups designed to expand our church community experiences, and to provide opportunities for us to invite people from the larger community.

    “Listening Sheep” | Betty Skeoch, Rasmussen Art Gallery. Enhancing our ability to communicate with God through praise music, being still, and journaling and meditating on scripture.)
