The PUC church members are divided into 23 Parishes of 10-40 households each. The purpose of Parish Ministry is to give each member some of the benefits of a smaller church. Each Parish is like a little church. The Parish Leader will keep the church office informed of needs of members and the church office will keep the Parish Leader informed of needs that come to the church office first. The Parish Visitation Coordinator is Odie Weir (965-3064).

Here are some of the specfic ministries that have been started or are planned:

1. Assessing the status and possible needs of each member.
2. Taking communion to members unable to get to church.
3. Involving the Parishes in hosting the monthly church potluck.
4. Providing a ride to church for those needing it.
5. Obtaining information from each member for a church data base.
6. Suggest ways each Parish can get better acquainted and members can care about each other.
