For New Members: From Us to YouDear Friend, Welcome to the PUC Church family! We are so glad you are here, and we
treasure what you bring to our fellowship on this mountain. As you get to know us better, I'm sure it will become obvious to you
that this church family is an exciting, diverse group of Seventh-day Adventist
Christians who love the Lord Jesus and wait for His return. Your spiritual
gifts, interests, and experience with Christ will add tremendously to
the texture of the body of Christ here as we grow towards His likeness.
Let me introduce to you the pastoral
team of the PUC Church. As Senior
Pastor, I'm in the pulpit most often. John
Hughson is Pastor for Administration. Norma
Osborn is Pastor for Family Life, Women's and Children's Ministries.
Pastor Jon Cicle is our
Youth Pastor, and Roy Ice is
the College Chaplain. Jessica
Shine
is the Worship & Outreach Pastor, and John
McIntosh is our Associate Pastor. Working along with us is a
wonderful secretarial, treasury and volunteer staff.
Because of our unique placement on the campus of Pacific
Union College, you'll discover that much of our focus will be
on the students who attend here. But we are also a thriving church in
our own right that wants to share life and ministry with every believer. As you settle into the family, we hope that you'll take the time to become
acquainted with the wide variety of ways you can become involved in church
life. There will always be a need for caring, involved members to lead
and participate in the various aspects and activities of church life.
So don't be bashful about letting us know how God has enabled you so that
the whole church community might benefit from His work in you. Please feel free to contact any member of the pastoral staff if you have
needs for which the church can provide help. We want to assist and uplift
you in any way that we can. Once again, we're glad you are here! May we together be the people of
God that He needs us to be. And may we be ready together to meet Him when
He returns soon to take us home. Because of Him. Pastor Tim Mitchell |
