I’ve always been intrigued by vanity license plates. One time I was driving on a four lane highway behind the same car for at least half an hour, going crazy, trying to figure out what the license plate said. I remember it even to this day – BN2ZASTK. When I finally figured it out I could relax. It got me thinking. What I would put on a vanity license plate on my car? What word would describe my passion? What would I want people to think about when they read it?
If you had one on your car what would yours say?
Our church has a license plate of sorts – to meet Him, to know Him, to live Him. We want people to know something about us and know what our goals are.
What is it we want them to know? It is all about Him, Jesus Christ!
As we get busy doing our everyday things, dealing with the urgent, and sometimes calling out, “Stop the world, I want to get off,” let’s remember what is really important. It’s all about HIM.
It’s about meeting Him, in prayer and meditation.
It’s about knowing Him, through study and experience.
It’s about living Him, through servanthood and submission to God.
What is BN2ZASTK? I figured it out: be enthusiastic! Perhaps we can put that with our own and show our enthusiasm for meeting Him, knowing Him, and living Him on this campus and in this community.
