Summary of What the Group Does:
In an informal sharing atmosphere the group seeks to build closeness
and community among the members as it focuses reverently and prayerfully
on Jesus’ favorite topic: the filling of the Holy Spirit.
John said, “I baptize you with water, but He that comes
after me will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” What
does this mean for you and me today? Can you receive the
Holy Spirit without waiting for the latter rain? What is
the difference between the “new birth” and being “baptized
with the Spirit”? Can you have the assurance of being
Spirit-filled just as you have the assurance of salvation? And,
what do tongues have to do with it anyway? How do you become
filled with the Spirit?
